• Code-1 Plus
  The first step to mailing efficiency is standardizing the address to USPS standards and verifying/correcting all address components. Code-1 Plus from Group1 Software is a comprehensive database system that cleans, codes, and standardizes user address data. Code-1 Plus is certified by the USPS as meeting ALL requirements of the Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS). CASS is the process that assures accurate carrier route, 5-Digit, ZIP+4 Codes, Delivery Point Barcodes (DPBC), and Line of Travel (LOT) codes are assigned addresses. To receive automation-based postal discounts, the USPS requires that mailing be produced from address lists that have been matched to CASS-certified software within the last 6 months.

• DPV – Delivery Point Validation
  Delivery point validation identifies undeliverable addresses. DPV contains the information for every location the USPS delivers to, which has grown to over 150 million addresses. DPV verifies the accuracy of addresses and reports back exactly what is wrong with incorrect addresses. Reports are generated with comments on each address that has failed DPV. These reports can be used to update customer databases.

• Postnet Barcoding
  To obtain automation postal discounts, a Postnet barcode must be printed within the address block on the mail piece. A Postnet barcode represents the ZIP code, +4, delivery point, and a check digit in 52 tall and short bars. Barcoded mail not only is required for automation discounts, it will greatly speed your mail through the USPS and improve delivery times.

• List Convert
  List Convert allows easy conversion of mailing lists from one format to another. Rented and purchased lists can be quickly converted to user-defined formats, improving your mailing efficiency and response rates. Special key codes can be added to each list for response tracking. Once all lists are standardized, a variety of merge/purge options are available to remove records.

• Merge/Purge
  Wasted postage and direct mail production costs associated with duplicate mail pieces is a costly problem for any business. Merge/Purge identifies and eliminates duplicate records based on names and addresses and/or duplicate addresses within a single or multiple files. Our sophisticated matching algorithm also recognizes and eliminates duplicates based on misspelled and partial names and addresses.

• NCOA LINK/LACS
  National Change of Address and Locatable Address Conversion System is the most cost effective way to find and apply address changes before a mailing. The USPS reports over 40 million address changes per year. The LACS database identifies address changes made by local governments when implementing 911 emergency systems. This creates a constant challenge to maintain high quality mailing lists. The databases are updated weekly and now contain over 160,000 NCOA changes and 5 million LACS. • MailStream Plus
  Mailstream Plus presorts, and optimizes mail among carrier route, automated,
  non-automated, and basic presort for all mailing classes. It automatically calculates the postage for all levels of mail and discounts and then presorts mail to obtain the maximum postage savings. MailStream Plus is PAVE certified by the USPS and produces all the necessary qualification reports (Form 3541, 3600, and 3602)

  Manifesting allows mixed weight pieces to be presorted and processed in a single mailing. Postal discounts can be realized at all discount levels from carrier route to basic presort. Manifesting requires an indicia or permit imprint be used rather than a meter or stamps.

• SCF/BMC Analysis / Logistics
  Significant postal savings can be realized when mail enters the postal system close to its destination. Not only can drop shipping reduce postage (up to $26 per 1000), it can also reduce the delivery time by four to seven days. Each mailing is analyzed for potential postal savings.
